For a legit freebie site, if someone is reported as a spammer, the account gets deleted and the spammer gets nothing. Freebies are real, if you find a legit site and follow the rules (which include not spamming). I've received a Wii and a few hundred cash in the past couple of months. Never an iPod though. I'm working on getting an archos 704 at the moment. Search yahoo groups for freecycle then find your city. It['s a sight where people post things they don't need or want anymore, and they're offering it for free, and you have to go get it. There's no guarantees of qualities or whatever, but it's free. Also if you offer at least 3 things for give away yourself, you can post a wanted and see if someone has one that they can give you. You have to sign up for e-mails each time someone submits a post that they are giving something away, or you won't be fast enough to claim it though. p.s. I've gotten so much stuff off freecycle...a fridge, stove, dresser, microwave, office supplies, keyboards, full computers with monitor, speaker, everything, a wireless adapter for a desktop, and on and on...weight bench and weights...i could go on all day.
